We have a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an award-winning multi-disciplinary property & construction consultancy based on the outskirts of Manchester. With an established client base and a collaborative team culture, the team deliver innovative and sustainable solutions across a range of sectors.\n\nThis is a fantastic role for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career.\n\nAbout the Role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:\n\nAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take on a client-facing position, offering expert cost and procurement advice across a diverse portfolio of projects. Their work spans the Residential, Student Housing, Education, Heritage, Commercial, Retail, and Local Authority sectors.\n\nYou'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from feasibility to completion, supporting key decisions to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:\n\nPrepare detailed cost plans and budget estimates\nManage procurement processes and administer contracts\nOversee cost control and reporting to ensure value for money\nSupport project risk management and mitigation\nLead value engineering exercises where required\nMentor junior surveyors and support team development \n\nRequirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:\n\nMRICS accreditation in Quantity Surveying\nPrevious experience as an Employer's Agent is highly desirable\nStrong leadership and project management skills\nConfident communicator with a collaborative mindset\nAbility to manage a varied workload across multiple sectors\nFull UK Driving Licence \n\nAs soon as we receive your application, Iain Shanley, our Surveying and Project Management recruiter, will contact you to discuss the opportunity and provide details about the client
