An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Senior Quantity Surveyor
to join a leading multi-disciplinary rail team specialising in Signalling & Telecoms delivery across major UK infrastructure projects.
This role is ideal for someone who is commercially focused, enjoys working in a dynamic project environment, and wants to play a key role in driving successful outcomes on large-scale rail schemes.
Essential requirements
Strong background as a Senior QS within a rail or major infrastructure environment
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction
Excellent stakeholder communication and client-facing skills
Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving capability
Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines
Ambitious mindset with a desire to grow and take on future leadership opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly commercial, contractual, financial and management reports
Monitoring and interpreting BoQs, technical specifications and contractual obligations
Managing commercial variations and supporting effective cost control
Providing costing information and pricing minor works packages
Supporting bid submissions, tender responses and commercial strategy
