Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor\nNorth West\n£55,000 – £70,000 + Package | Energy Retrofit & Housing Projects\n\nA growing specialist contractor delivering large-scale energy efficiency and housing retrofit programmes is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team.\n\nWorking across projects for local authorities and housing providers, the business delivers programmes focused on improving energy performance in residential properties, including insulation upgrades, renewable technologies and low-carbon heating solutions.\n\nThis role offers the opportunity to take commercial ownership of projects while working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCommercial management of housing retrofit and refurbishment projects\n\nPreparing and managing valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts\n\nManaging subcontractor procurement and subcontract accounts\n\nWorking closely with delivery teams to monitor costs and commercial performance\n\nIdentifying commercial risks and opportunities across projects\n\nSupporting senior leadership with commercial reporting and project performance\n\nRequirements\n\nExperience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction or refurbishment\n\nStrong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control and contract administration\n\nExperience within social housing, refurbishment, retrofit or energy improvement works is beneficial\n\nAbility to manage projects and communicate effectively with delivery teams and clients\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n£55,000 – £70,000 salary depending on experience\n\n1–2 days on site, with the remainder office based\n\nLong-term pipeline of housing and energy retrofit projects\n\nOpportunity to work within a growing sector focused on sustainability and energy efficiency\n\nSupportive leadership team and clear progression opportunities\n\nApply\n\nIf you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply with a copy of your CV or get in touch with our Commercial Specialist, Jane Fairhurst
