Job Description

We're looking for a Senior  Quantity Surveyor  to join our Natural Resources Team working on our Severn Trent framework.

Location : Solihull, with remote and site working

\n

Contract : Permanent, Full Time – flexible hours may be available if desired, just let us know

Responsibilities

\n

As a Senior  Quantity Surveyor , you'll be working within the Natural Resources team supporting them in managing the commercial aspects of schemes between £5m-£30m (avg. £10m) in value on capital project resilience and upgrades work to both clean and dirty water treatment plants. Sites stretch across the midlands from Birmingham down to Stroud and across to Northampton.

Your day to day will include:

\n

\n Assisting with the control of costs, maximising value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety

\n

Working within the project teams liaising with the Commercial Lead, Project Engineers, Procurement Coordinators, Planners, Site Team Leaders and Site Managers.

\n

Assisting in improving cost efficiency and creating an environment of out-performance.

\n

Procurement of subcontractors in line with our commercial standards, ensuring best value for Kier and our client

\n

Accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting

\n

\n

\n

What are we looking for?

\n

This role of Senior  Quantity Surveyor  is great for you if:

\n

\n You hold a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying

\n

You are experience working with civil projects and have NEC contract experience.

\n

\n

\n
