A well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking a

Senior Quantity Surveyor

to join their commercial team on a range of infrastructure projects across the

Highlands and Islands . The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will have full commercial responsibility for civil engineering projects from pre-contract through to final account. Key Responsibilities Commercial management of civil engineering projects Cost planning, budgeting and financial forecasting Preparation of valuations, variations and final accounts Procurement and management of subcontractors Contract administration (NEC preferred) Risk and opportunity management Accurate monthly cost/value reporting Liaison with project teams, clients and stakeholders Mentoring and supporting junior commercial staff Candidate Requirements Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (not a prerequisite) Strong civil engineering background (will consider different sector experience) Good working knowledge of

NEC contracts
