Working closely with Production and Engineering, owning problem-solving activities, and developing toward leading audits and wider quality initiatives as the business expands.Job PurposeTo support and drive the business in improving quality standards and efficiency by promoting continuous improvement activities, helping to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport production teams in meeting delivery and quality targetsSupport MRB (Material Review Board) meetingsManage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) end-to-endFacilitate NCR investigations with production and engineeringPerform RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Actions) using tools such as 8D and 5YManage customer returns and implement effective corrective actionsCarry out concession activitiesEnsure equipment is calibrated and calibration records are maintained across the businessSupport continuous improvement initiativesCarry out internal auditsSupport and potentially lead external audit activitiesFully comply with Company Policies, including Health & Safety at all timesRequirements:ISO, AS or NADCAP based quality system knowledgeRelevant education and/or experience within quality/engineering/manufacturingStrong IT skills and confident using standard software packagesHighly organised and process-oriented, with a logical and pragmatic approachHigh attention to detail and accuracyPersistent problem-solver, comfortable working to deadlinesExcellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)Able to build productive relationships across teams and with customersQuick to learn and apply new information, processes and systemsSelf-motivated and confidentThe Company is a growing global leader in the Aerospace and Defence industries, manufacturing aircraft components for several major OEMs. As a partner-of-choice for best-in-class product development, manufacture and repair, they combine deep expertise across engineering, manufacturing and repair.
