The Opportunity As Senior Public Affairs Manager, you’ll lead engagement with political and industry stakeholders to help deliver An Electric Britain. You’ll develop and manage public affairs strategies that support our business objectives and influence policy on nuclear, energy supply, and zero carbon homes. This hybrid role combines home working with generally a few days a week in our #London office, plus flexibility to attend meetings as needed. Salary starts from £65,000 depending on experience. Who You Are We’re looking for someone with: Extensive public affairs experience and strong political networks Proven success in managing high-profile stakeholder programmes Excellent communication and influencing skills Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines Line management experience Energy sector experience is helpful but not essential. What You’ll Be Doing Leading EDF’s public affairs strategy and engagement programmes Building relationships with MPs and key stakeholders Advising senior leaders on political issues and risks Managing parliamentary lobbying campaigns and events Overseeing external agencies and line managing two Public Affairs Officers Pay, Benefits and Culture Alongside a starting salary from £65,000, you’ll enjoy a market-leading pension scheme and customisable benefits including electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, and more.
