A global Insurer with strong ties to the London Insurance Market is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact business and technology transformation initiatives that support our future strategy.
This role offers the opportunity to work across underwriting, operations, claims, IT, and finance, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive meaningful organisational change.
The candidate must have at least 3 years experience within the London Market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver multiple complex, high-value transformation projects across business and technology functions
- Develop and manage detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and budgets
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives and external partners
- Monitor project performance, track KPIs, and proactively adjust plans to ensure successful delivery
- Identify risks and issues early, implementing effective mitigation and resolution strategies
- Drive strong governance through regular reporting, project meetings, and adherence to best practices
- Ensure high-quality delivery of project outcomes aligned to business objectives and strategic goals
- Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams while mentoring project managers and promoting continuous improvement
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes within the insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of the London Insurance Market and its operating environment
- Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with proficiency in tools such as Jira or Clarity
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, influencing, and navigating complex organisations
- Relevant qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PROSCI (or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline
