Job Description

JOB – Senior Project Manager \n\nLOCATION – Liverpool (hybrid working is available)\n\nTERM- Permanent\n\nSALARY - £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)\n\nMy client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke products, primarily working within the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in the Liverpool area on a permanent basis.\n\nThe Senior Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:\n\n5 or more years of Project Management experience to Senior or near Senior level\nNeeds to have experience with Capex Projects \nIdeally be experienced working with a small team to implement new Project Management processes\nExperience delivering turnkey projects\nHold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualifications\nAn educational or hands-on background in Engineering\nA background in the Medical sector would also be beneficial\nTechnical Mechanical Engineering knowledge\nBe able to read engineering drawings\nStrong client-facing experience\nProven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written\nBe able to work well individually as well as part of a team\nBe flexible to travel as required \n\n Responsibilities include:\n\nIdentifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid to manufacture and delivery\nOrganising projects, implementing a new Project Management process and motivating the existing team to work to new structures and procedures\nSuccessfully delivering projects on time and on budget\nProducing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans\nLiaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress\nWorking with design, purchasing and production departments\nPresenting project plans and reports to management\nReporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues\nMaintaining technical documentation as required\nMentoring junior members of the team\nOccasional travel as required \n\n If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
