Job Description

Senior Product Manager

Location: London

Working arrangement: Hybrid, typically 3 days per week in the office

Salary: £80,000 to £105,000 base DOE

Equity: Competitive equity package with meaningful long-term upside

About the Company

This is a fast-scaling digital health technology business building consumer-grade products in a complex, regulated environment. The platform sits at the intersection of healthcare and modern digital experience, with real-world impact on how people access essential services.

The business has strong momentum and a clear product direction. Product is now moving from early-stage execution into a more deliberate, scalable phase. This hire is central to that shift. The expectation is that the successful candidate will join as a senior individual contributor, take full ownership of the product roadmap and delivery, and play a leading role in shaping how the product function matures over the next 9 to 12 months.

As the platform grows, there is a clear intention for this role to evolve into a Head of Product position, with responsibility for building out a product team once the foundations are firmly in place.

The Opportunity

This is a chance to step into a genuinely influential product role. From day one, you will be trusted with ownership of core product decisions, working closely with the founder and senior stakeholders to set direction and drive execution.

Initially, the focus is on doing. Owning the roadmap, shipping improvements, raising the quality bar and proving impact. Over time, as the business scales and complexity increases, you will help define the next phase of the product function, including when and how to grow the team around you.

For someone who enjoys high ownership, close collaboration with a founder, and the opportunity to grow into a senior product leadership role through impact rather than tenure, this role offers a rare combination of responsibility and progression.

What You’ll Be Doing

Owning the Product Direction

  • Taking responsibility for the product roadmap and how it evolves
  • Translating business goals into clear, well-prioritised product initiatives
  • Driving decision-making across web and mobile experiences

  • Producing clear product documentation, wireframes and high-level UX concepts
  • Partnering closely with engineering, design and QA to maintain pace and quality

Improving the Customer Experience

  • Running experiments and using insight and data to guide improvements
  • Raising the overall quality and consistency of the product experience

Ways of Working

  • Strengthening feedback loops, delivery processes and prioritisation
  • Operating comfortably in a fast-moving, evolving environment
  • Taking increasing ownership and becoming a trusted product partner to the founder

The Product Setup

  • One senior Product and UX Designer
  • One engineering team of around nine
  • Planned QA hire
  • Core product processes in place, with scope to level up data, feedback and delivery maturity

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Around 6 to 8 years’ experience in product management
  • Strong background in consumer-facing digital products, particularly web-first platforms
  • Experience working in startups or scale-ups where ownership and pace matter
  • Exposure to healthcare, digital health or regulated products is a strong plus

Skills and Approach

  • Evidence of running meaningful product experiments with measurable outcomes
  • Ability to clearly explain how product decisions have driven engagement or growth
  • Comfortable getting hands-on with UX thinking, wireframing and user research
  • Strong communicator who can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Commercially minded and focused on delivering real user and business value

Why This Role

  • High ownership and visibility from day one
  • Close collaboration with the founder and leadership team
  • Opportunity to shape both the product and the product function
  • Clear pathway to grow into a broader leadership role as the company scales
  • Competitive salary, equity and the chance to build something with genuine impact
