Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: 70-80K

A Senior Product Designer is needed to join a large, established, product‑focused organisation. The role offers the chance to work across the full design process and help guide the direction of key digital products.

The role

The Senior Product Designer will lead design work from early ideas through to final delivery. They will work closely with Product, Engineering and other teams, bring user insights into decision‑making, and support junior designers as they grow.

Key responsibilities

Lead design from research and ideas through to delivery
Help shape product plans and contribute to wider strategy
Run and interpret user research and usability tests
Create wireframes, prototypes and final design assets
Represent user needs in conversations with senior stakeholders
Mentor and support junior designers
Contribute to the design system
Work with engineering teams to ensure designs are built accurately

Experience & qualities

Experience:

Strong experience as a Senior Product or UX Designer
Time spent working in established digital teams
Confident working with and influencing different teamsQualities that help in this role:

Portfolio showing complex user journeys and problem‑solving
Practical designer who can think both creatively and strategically
Enjoys supporting and guiding others
Comfortable using data to inform decisions
Able to work in environments with some regulation or compliance needs
