The firm prides itself on delivering high-quality, tailored financial services to a diverse portfolio of clients, while maintaining a friendly, collaborative working environment.The Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team on a full-time, onsite basis. You will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts under FRS 102, managing bookkeeping and payroll functions, and completing year-end accounts and financial statements.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102Production of year-end accounts and management reportsOverseeing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll processingSupporting clients with accounting and tax-related queriesReviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing guidanceEnsuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and deadlinesLiaising directly with clients, HMRC, and other stakeholdersRequirements:MAAT, ACCA or ACA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)Minimum 45 years experience within a UK accountancy practiceStrong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105Experience preparing accounts from trial balance to completionProficient with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or SageExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectivelyBenefits:Competitive salary (£50,000£60,000 depending on experience)Onsite parkingSupportive, close-knit team environmentOpportunities for continued professional developmentTPBN1_UKTJ
