Senior Mechanical Project Manager – Healthcare Projects\n\nThe Client and Project Info:\n\nMy client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to deliver complex healthcare projects across the Birmingham. This role will involve managing full mechanical packages on hospital and healthcare schemes, from pre-construction through to final handover.\n\nSenior Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Taking full responsibility for the delivery of mechanical packages on healthcare projects.\n\n * \n\n Managing project teams, including Mechanical Project Managers, Site Managers, and Supervisors.\n\n * \n\n Overseeing programme, budget, and commercial performance of projects.\n\n * \n\n Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.\n\n * \n\n Reviewing and managing design development, technical submissions, and procurement strategies.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring QA, compliance, and commissioning processes meet healthcare and HTM standards.\n\n * \n\n Identifying and resolving technical and programme risks.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all works are delivered safely and in line with company and site procedures.\n\n * \n\n Attending client meetings and senior management reviews.\n\nSenior Mechanical Project Manager Requirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on healthcare projects (hospitals, clinics, laboratories).\n\n * \n\n Strong background working for M&E Contractors.\n\n * \n\n Mechanical engineering or trade background.\n\n * \n\n SMSTS.\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of HTM standards and healthcare regulations.\n\n * \n\n Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial awareness.\n\n * \n\n Willingness to travel to projects UK wide.\n\nThe Next Steps:\n\nTo apply for the role as the Senior Mechanical Project Manager, click on the apply now button below and submit your CV
