The Opportunity A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support NW nuclear projects UK. You’ll play a key role in ensuring mechanical deliverables meet the highest standards while guiding and developing junior engineers. This is a chance to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking team driving the transition to a low-carbon future.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles Mechanical Design Engineer, Project Mechanical Engineer, Lead Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Package Engineer, Mechanical Systems Engineer, Senior Design Engineer or Mechanical Consultant

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Overseeing mechanical engineering output to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with internal processes and industry standards.
Providing mentorship and technical support to less experienced engineers within the team.
Producing detailed scopes of work, technical documentation, and complete mechanical design packages for installation and construction.
Representing the mechanical discipline in meetings, workshops, and design reviews with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
