Perfect for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer whos mentored others and wants more responsibility. The Role Lead mechanical design from concept to manufacture for machinery and process systems

Oversee a small design team, checking and approving work to ensure quality and accuracy

Produce 3D models, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and BOMs

Plan workloads, allocate resources, and support Project Managers

Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical issues

Manage drawing release, revision control, and documentation

Youll Need HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

8 years experience in machinery, process, or automation design

Strong fabrication, pipework, and assembly knowledge

Experience mentoring, checking drawings, and maintaining design standards

Confident communicator ready to step into leadership Nice to Have Knowledge of P&IDs, process equipment, or DfM

Familiarity with CE marking, machinery safety, or fluid systems
