The role:
Working on product performance and process
Reporting and analysis tasks
Tech support for customers
Support innovation for engineering tasks
Perform root cause and corrective action as required
Support Manufacturing cells and engineering tasks as required
Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), NPI and Manufacturing Process tasks.
Your Skills / Experience:
Minimum HND or degree in a related subject e.g. STEM, Production or Manufacturing Engineering
Proven experience working in mid-senior level role in manufacturing, with knowledge/experience of electronics Manufacturing
Worked with/on electronics products down to component level
Process improvement/efficiency/lean manufacturing
Experience of process FMEA, Control Plan, Process flow development, review and risk mitigation processes
Experience of various Manufacturing platforms
Technical presentation and communication skills
Ideally have worked for an Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence company.
Desirable:
Manufacturing methodologies, such as Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI)
