A forward-thinking engineering company working across motorsport, aerospace, marine, and automotive sectors is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead production planning and process optimisation from prototype through to full-scale manufacture. This role is based just outside of Oxford.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDevelop factory layouts and production line setups\nDefine assembly sequences, takt times, and resource planning\nLead prototype builds and support transition to production\nImplement lean manufacturing practices and train technicians\nOwn and maintain the Manufacturing BoM in ERP/MRP systems\nDrive continuous improvement and support issue resolution\n\nRequirements:\n\nStrong experience in manufacturing engineering within high-tech industries such as automotive, marine or aerospace\nSkilled in layout design, lean principles, and process optimisation\nUnderstanding of takt time, HPP, and capacity planning\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems and BoM control\nExcellent problem-solving and cross-functional leadership skills\n\nBenefits:\n\n£60,000 - £65,000\n25 days plus all bank holidays\nFlexible working\nBirthday off\nFree breakfast
