Senior Manager, Independent Model Validation and Model Risk Governance

Midlands, Hybrid

Salary, Up to £80,000 PA

We’re supporting a UK financial services group that’s actively building out its Independent Model Validation capability, not maintaining the status quo, but shaping how model risk is done across the bank. This is a genuine opportunity to step into a Senior Manager seat with real ownership, visibility, and the mandate to help set the standards.

What you’ll bring

Strong quantitative background with hands-on model development or validation experience Knowledge across IRB, IFRS 9, and model risk management principles Able to test, replicate, and challenge models using code Comfortable communicating clearly and presenting to senior stakeholders UK right to work
