Job Title: Senior Maintenance Supervisor Location: Coleshill Reporting To: Engineering / Maintenance Manager Hours: 7am 4pm Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and effective day-to-day maintenance operations while driving continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operations Own and support Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities across all production lines Ensure PM schedules are completed on time and to the required quality standards Participate in root cause analysis activities (DAB, 5 Whys, 8D, ICMS) to identify and eliminate equipment failures Drive practical improvements to reduce downtime and enhance operational reliability Identify, develop, and implement improvement ideas from the shop floor Allocate maintenance resources effectively to meet production and operational priorities Lead by example, promoting high standards of behaviour, safety, and performance Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance skills and capability Support disciplinary investigations in line with company procedures, working alongside HR Manage and control maintenance budgets, including Capex for new equipment and upgradesKey Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment (OEM or Tier 1 preferred) Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices Experience with preventative and autonomous maintenance systems Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, 8D) Basic understanding of IATF 16949 requirements (training can be provided) Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively Budget management experience within a maintenance or engineering functionIf you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
