Legal Counsel – In-House Financial Services

Central London (5 days in office) | 12-month FTC | ⚖️ 5+ PQE

A global leader in shipbroking and maritime investment is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team. This is a rare opportunity to support both day-to-day operations and major strategic projects in a dynamic, FCA-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate a range of commercial contracts
• Advise on FCA, AML, sanctions and compliance matters
• Support employment law, governance, and corporate initiatives
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business

About You:

• 5+ PQE, qualified in England & Wales
• Strong commercial contracts and regulatory experience
• Comfortable in fast-paced, regulated settings (FS, commodities, maritime)
• Confident engaging directly with business leads and executives
