The Role

As a Senior Interior Designer, you’ll lead projects from concept through to completion, managing design teams and acting as the day-to-day point of contact for clients and consultants, with oversight from the project Associate and/or Partner. You’ll take responsibility for design development, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of creativity, technical accuracy, and compliance, while keeping them on programme and within budget. This role calls for leadership, strong project management, and the ability to balance design vision with commercial and operational requirements.

  • Communicates confidently with their team, clients and consultants.
  • Understands budgets and programmes, delivering projects efficiently and to brief
  • Is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Approaches challenges with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Demonstrates technical competency and attention to detail across all design stages
  • Has strong verbal and written English skills. Fluency in Greek, French, or Italian is highly desirable.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years' experience as an Interior Designer
  • Minimum 4 years' experience working on hospitality projects
  • Ability to lead the development of original interior design concepts and space planning proposals
  • Ability to lead all stages of projects, including construction
  • Strong FF&E design and specification skills
  • Ability to produce and review technical design drawings and specifications
  • Experience managing teams and delegating tasks effectively
  • Excellent presentation and client-facing skills
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Professional proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work effectively to a project brief and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, organisational skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to travel for projects, both domestically and internationally
