About The Role:

An award-winning design studio is seeking an experienced and ambitious Workplace Senior Interior Designer to join their growing team. With a strong portfolio of high-profile workplace, commercial, hospitality and residential projects, the studio is looking for a well-rounded designer who is ready to take the lead on exciting new commissions from concept through to completion.


This is an ideal opportunity for a senior-level designer (8–10 years’ experience) who thrives in a creative and collaborative environment and is looking to bring fresh ideas and leadership to dynamic workplace projects. This role suits a self-motivated designer looking to step into a more strategic role and make your mark on innovative workplace interiors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead workplace and commercial design projects from initial brief through to delivery
  • Develop concepts with strong creative direction and high design standards
  • Manage internal teams, timelines, and project resources across all RIBA stages
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and graduates
  • Collaborate directly with clients, consultants, suppliers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Engage in business development efforts and actively pursue new project opportunities
  • Produce and coordinate comprehensive interior design and FF&E packages
  • Contribute to the development of fee proposals and presentation material
  • Attend site visits and client meetings, providing clear and professional representation of the studio


Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of interior design experience, with a strong focus on workplace and commercial interiors
  • Proven ability to lead design teams and manage multiple projects at various stages
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with confidence in presentations and meetings
  • Skilled in both interior architecture and FF&E design, with a strong eye for detail
  • Ability to manage project budgets, procurement, and documentation effectively
  • Confident working with suppliers and coordinating across multiple disciplines
  • Positive, proactive and solution-focused attitude
  • Good knowledge of current trends in workplace design and business development
  • Previous experience in writing or contributing to fee proposals and marketing strategies is a plus
  • AutoCAD (essential)
  • Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign and Photoshop (essential)
  • SketchUp or similar 3D modelling software (preferred)
