Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £70,000 p/a + benefits


Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support large-scale virtualised infrastructure platforms across Windows and Linux environments
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues to ensure high availability
  • Deliver infrastructure projects including virtualisation migrations, platform upgrades, and service improvements
  • Manage and optimise virtual environments across VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox estates
  • Support and administer large Remote Desktop / RDS environments, ensuring performance and reliability

Core Infrastructure

  • 6+ years experience in enterprise infrastructure environments
  • Windows & Linux Server administration
  • Strong experience with VMware vSphere & Hyper-V experience (migration experience needed)
  • Proxmox
  • Experience supporting large Microsoft RDS environments
  • Storage & Backups
  • Network & Security fundamentals
  • Certifications such as VCP and/or VCAP (nice to have)
