Job Description

Role: Senior IT Support Engineer

Location: Manchester

Salary: £32,000-£37,000

Full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

This expanding company is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the team. This role offers the chance to take ownership of both project delivery and advanced support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering and supporting solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, device management, security, and cloud-based systems.

Acting as a senior engineer for escalated issues & providing support for more junior members of the team.

Planning and implementing technical projects.

Working closely with technology partners and clients to design and optimise solutions.

Creating documentation, technical guides, and clear handover material for both clients and internal teams.

Supporting day-to-day service operations, including onboarding and upkeep of client environments.

Key Skills:

Previous experience in a managed services or IT services environment.

Strong technical capability across O365, Azure, networking, Intune/MDM, and general infrastructure.

Experience delivering technical projects from planning through to implementation.

Confident handling complex escalations and supporting more junior members of staff.

Able to manage workload independently and drive tasks through to completion.
