Where will you be working? At M Group Highways, were supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. Youll be joining our Engineering Solutionsteam, as the UKs number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? Do you enjoy leading on projects? You'll be the project lead for the design of highways maintenance and improvement schemes with responsibility for delivery to time, cost and quality requirements. You'll undertake technical design checks, site visits for surveys and inspections to support the design process

Are you organised? You'll focus on resource planning and co-ordination of multi-disciplinary teams, including sub-consultants. We'll support you to carry out people management including training and development, staff performance reviews, mentoring and performance management.

What youll bring

Are you an Incorporated / Chartered Engineer? You'll need to have this status or a be a highly experienced Engineer working towards IEng/CEng You'll have experience leading multi-disciplinary projects to achieve customers programme, cost and quality expectations within the highways sector You'll need experience in the application and review of alignment, drainage and sign design software and AutoCad package. You'll be commercially aware in project delivery Do you have experience of National Highways & Local Authority design standards & contracts? You'll need this and knowledge of NEC suite of contracts Experience of design resource planning and programme management You'll need experience of managing H&S in design and construction You'll need a full and clean UK/EEC driving licence
