Produce drawings, calculations, reports and design documents, including: Desk studies, site inspections, earthworks specifications and interpretative reports Experience of Governmental reporting Tier 2 & 3 analysis options appraisals and remediation strategies and verification would be beneficial Contribute to the planning and procurement of ground investigations Analysis of geotechnical data, preparation of ground models, design and reporting on foundations, retaining walls, slope stability and stabilisation, and ground improvement. Independently use design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GEO5 Knowledge of the implementation of the designers duties as required under CDM (2015) Follow and contribute to Link Engineering procedures for completing work to the highest standard and adding value to the schemes we deliver Coordinate with project engineers, engineering technicians and senior team involved in scheme delivery Awareness of design guides and standards Liaise with clients and third parties Identify and manage risks within your area of responsibility Complete site visits and investigations to review project constraints and the construction process as required within schemes Key Requirements
A degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology is essential An MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering, or Engineering Geology would be an advantage Chartered or working towards chartership with the Geological Society of London or Institution of Civil Engineers.
