Senior Geotechnical Engineer Job Overview
Deliver high-quality designs for piled foundations, retaining walls, and ground improvement schemes using software such as Wallap, Plaxis 2D, and Oasys. Undertake advanced geotechnical analysis, including settlement modelling and soil-structure interaction. Review geotechnical site investigation data and convert it into safe, sustainable, and cost-efficient design solutions. Lead and manage the design elements of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with Eurocode/BS standards and client specifications. Produce clear and comprehensive design reports and ensure designs are implemented effectively on site Act as a senior technical reference point, supporting junior engineers and contributing to the wider technical knowledge base. Liaise with operations teams and clients to ensure design compliance and assist in resolving site issues or NCRs.
