I am seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (remote) to lead a small design team within an independent multidisciplinary consultancy. The role involves delivering various design projects on a remote basis.

Responsibilities

• Leading geotechnical designs for contractors and developers across large commercial, retail, logistics, and industrial schemes throughout the UK.
• Writing and reviewing reports such as Phase 2, GDR, and earthwork specifications.
• Preliminary and detailed design of piles, foundations, retaining walls, slopes, etc.

Candidate Specification

• BEng in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related field.
• Chartered ICE or nearing chartership; support provided.
• Experience with industry software for piles and foundations.
• Ideally, experience mentoring and managing staff.
