Base pay range We are partnering with a leading European credit platform that is launching a new secondaries strategy. As the business prepares to expand into this area, they are seeking to hire a Fund Controller who will become the first dedicated finance professional within the new division. This is a pivotal, hands‑on role where you will build and run the full fund finance framework for the secondaries platform. Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of fund accounting, reporting, valuations, and operational workflows, adapting existing systems while putting new processes in place as the strategy grows. You will work directly with founders and play a central role in shaping the financial infrastructure of a strategy that sits within an established, high-performing credit business. The ideal candidate will have 4–10+ years’ PQE in fund accounting, ideally within secondaries, but will also consider private equity or private credit. It is important to have strong technical knowledge of fund structures, valuations, waterfalls and trade workflows. Candidates should also be comfortable acting as the first finance hire in a new strategy, capable of operating autonomously while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and third‑party providers.
