HUG is excited to partner with an innovative healthtech startup to recruit a number of Senior Software Engineers to join their UK team. This dynamic company is driving impactful solutions in the healthcare industry, offering a collaborative and fast-paced environment for talented professionals.
About the Role:
We’re seeking skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineers (*with a front-end focus) to join a high-performing team building scalable, user-centric solutions. You’ll play a key role in designing and developing intuitive, responsive interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a platform that creates meaningful user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable features with a focus on user experience.
- Build and maintain robust, responsive interfaces using modern technologies.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless solutions.
- Optimise code and systems for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure flexible, maintainable systems.
- Mentor team members and promote a culture of technical excellence.
- Participate in iterative development cycles to test and refine solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and GraphQL.
- Experience building responsive, user-focussed interfaces in dynamic environments.
- Familiarity with modern development practices (e.g., CI/CD, microservices, or cloud-based architectures).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for crafting intuitive user experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
