ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a leading innovator in defence and aerospace technology, delivering cutting-edge digital systems across the land, sea, air, and cyber domains. Their teams are expanding and are now seeking a skilled Senior Firmware Engineer to work on future-focused solutions supporting critical national infrastructure.

THE SENIOR FIRMWARE ENGINEER ROLE

As part of a cross-discipline engineering team, you’ll lead firmware development on high-integrity digital systems. From requirement capture and design to simulation, verification and test, you’ll be instrumental in the delivery of mission-ready systems.

SENIOR FIRMWARE ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong VHDL-based FPGA experience
• Knowledge of Xilinx, Altera or Actel technologies
• Simulation and modelling tools (e.g. Matlab, Simulink, SPICE)
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout review
