Responsibilities
Lead and manage large or complex fire engineering projects, taking full ownership of deliverables Provide technical expertise on fire safety strategies, performance‑based designs, and complex problem‑solving Review and approve technical submissions from subcontractors and consultants Lead design team meetings, workshops, and client presentations Mentor and support junior and mid‑level engineers, fostering their professional development Represent the consultancy with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and at project meetings Keep up to date with UK legislation, guidance, and industry best practices, ensuring projects meet the highest standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Degree qualified in Fire Engineering (BEng/BSc/MSc) and Chartered (or near completion) Extensive experience delivering fire engineering solutions for UK projects Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, guidance, and design standards Proven experience managing multiple projects and teams concurrently Excellent written and verbal communication skills UK driving licence preferred but not essential Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available for this position
