We are now seeking a Senior Finance Advisor to join our Central Accounting Team, supporting INTO's international study centres across the UK and Australia. This is a senior role within a collaborative, values-driven team that is responsible for processing accounting transactions and delivering accurate financial information to the wider Group. Reporting to the Senior Manager, UK Central Accounting, you will provide reliable trial balance-level financial data, ensuring it is complete, accurate, and delivered on time for your areas of responsibility. As a Senior Finance Advisor, you will play an active role across the full financial reporting cycle. You will prepare and review trial balances for specific study centres, oversee month-end activity including accruals, prepayments, payroll and depreciation, and ensure revenue is recognised appropriately with deferred income schedules maintained throughout the year. You will also be responsible for maintaining the fixed asset register, posting depreciation, and ensuring balance sheet control and intercompany accounts are accurate and fully reconciled. Working closely with Finance Business Partners, you will support month-end reviews, help interpret financial results, and investigate any questions that arise. Your expertise will also contribute to the preparation of internal and external audit files, supporting audit processes and responding to queries with confidence. Across the wider finance calendar, you will be involved in year-end activities, the preparation of tax packs, and supporting quarterly VAT and/or GST returns. This role offers the opportunity to bring a thoughtful, advisory approach to central accounting. You will be encouraged to share knowledge, support colleagues, and provide cover during periods of absence. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to continuous improvement, adapting processes in line with technological developments and evolving business needs, and supporting ad‑hoc projects as required. The role is based in Brighton, however we welcome applications from candidates seeking hybrid or remote working arrangements. Occasional travel will be required, for example to attend team meetings at our Brighton office.
