Vacancy: Senior Associate - Operational ResilienceContract: Permanent Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum Location: West London Start Date: Immediate requirementWe are currently seeking a Senior Associate - Operational Resilience to join our Operational Resilience function on a permanent basis. This is an office-based role suited to a motivated professional with experience in operational resilience, business continuity, and third-party risk management within a regulated environment.Candidates will be assessed on their knowledge and research of the role and job description, and those with hands-on experience in Business Continuity Planning, Vendor/Outsourcing Management, and Operational Risk will be given preference.Role OverviewThe role supports the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Operational Resilience framework. You will assist senior management in ensuring critical services remain resilient, identifying gaps in processes and controls, and embedding resilience practices across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational ResilienceDevelop, review, and support implementation of Operational Resilience policies and action plansSupport Business Impact Analysis (BIA) processes, including data collection, training stakeholders, and producing consolidated reportsAct as first-line point of contact for Operational Resilience mattersCoordinate third-party resilience assessmentsSupport incident management activities and governance reportingAssist with cyber resilience, IT resilience, and business continuity oversightParticipate in Operational Resilience working groups and governance forumsReview and challenge operational risk impacts of new projectsAssist in embedding a strong Operational Resilience culture through training, workshops, surveys, and awareness initiativesCollect and monitor MI for Senior Management and Board reportingEnsure appropriate record keeping and GDPR complianceBusiness Continuity PlanningSupport the design and delivery of Business Continuity standardsAssist with recovery arrangements and annual BCP testingSupport development of continuity plans and staff trainingMaintain BCP timetables and reportingOutsourcing & Third-Party RiskSupport the Outsourcing framework in line with SYSC 8 requirementsAssist with embedding outsourcing policies, regulatory requirements, and audit findingsSupport contract oversight and annual reviewsPrepare MI and reporting for Senior Management and the BoardPolicy, Training & AuditAssist in drafting policies, processes, strategies, and frameworksSupport workshops and training on crisis management, outsourcing, and BCPAssist in responding to and closing audit actionsSkills & Experience RequiredMinimum 3 years' experience in operational risk / operational resilience within a bank or regulated financial services environmentStrong understanding of Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Regulatory expectationsExperience developing and implementing policies and proceduresAbility to work to tight deadlines and under pressureStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsCollaborative team player with a proactive mindsetCommitment to organisational aims and objectivesThis is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to build long-term experience in Operational Resilience within a regulated financial services environment.JBRP1_UKTJ
