Role: Senior Estimator/Estimator Location: Greater Manchester Salary: £Very Competitive - Neg depending on experience permanent position

The role

Search are working with a large and forward-thinking construction company who are recruiting for a Senior Estimator or experienced Estimator to join the established team from the North West office.

We are looking for candidate who come from a Tier 1, tier 2, or main contracting background.

Responsibilities:

* Process and analyse enquiries incoming from a wide range of clients * Manage the process of preparing take-offs as well as material schedules * Update project costs throughout the process to match the latest information * Participate in tender handover meetings * Prepare subcontract enquiries and evaluate quotation * Working within a team submit proposals to clients and stakeholders * Negotiate terms with clients and suppliers * Maintaining cost library based on feedback from the commercial department * Prepare estimates and outline programmes for the costs of the works * Coordinate tender

Key Skills & Experience

* Experience working within an estimating for a main Contractor * Knowledge of estimating software * Experience on working on projects over £5m * Relevant qualification or over 4 years' experience
