In this position, you will take responsibility for a mix of varied & exciting commercial and operational property assets, ensuring they are effectively managed and deliver optimal value. You will be involved in a wide range of professional activities, from negotiating lease terms through to supporting acquisitions and disposals.

What we're looking for Degree in Estate Management and membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Proven experience in commercial property within a local authority setting. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities. Confident negotiator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Experience leading or mentoring others.

Key responsibilities Manage a diverse portfolio including leases, licences, rent reviews and vacant properties. Lead on property disposals (sale and lease), ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and budgets. Negotiate easements, way leaves and rights of way with external bodies. Provide professional advice and support to internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations while delivering practical, value-driven solutions.
