Senior Electronics Engineer Edinburgh Permanent iO Associates are working with a fast-growing, international consumer product company known for innovative hardware products is expanding its technical capabilities within its product development team. The focus is on building high-quality, scalable products for a global market. You will be responsible for leading electronics development across the full product lifecycle - from early prototyping through to high-volume production. Responsibilities * Lead concept-to-prototype development * Define technical specifications and produce clear design documentation * Collaborate with manufacturing partners to scale designs for production Essential Skills * Strong background in electronics engineering with end-to-end product development experience * Degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or similar * Experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and layout (e.g. Altium, KiCad) * Knowledge of power systems (mains, USB, batteries, regulators) * Familiarity with embedded communication protocols (IC, SPI, CAN, UART) They pride themselves on their working environment and benefits that they offer.
