We are currently recruiting for a senior electronics design engineer to assist with maintaining and developing our established Machine Tool Current Product line.

An in-depth knowledge of electronics is an essential requirement along with an understanding of the demands of a current product environment.

Responsibilities Develop the electronics for current products, through continuous improvement upgrades and/or obsolescence.

Be reactive and responsive to production and customer issues Work on multiple projects simultaneously and allocate time appropriately to meet delivery deadlines.

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and subsidiaries to propose and validate electronics hardware changes to improve reliability, manufacturability, and cost.

Maintain product compliance with EMC, safety, and environmental standards.

Liaise with vendors to resolve component issues and qualify replacements.

Produce clear technical reports, test procedures, and change records Key requirements Educated to least degree level in electronics, or HNC/ HND with 5 years relevant work experience.

Expertise in analogue and digital electronics design, including designing for electromagnetic compatibility.

Desirable requirements EMC testing experience.

Practical electronic circuit prototyping skills.
