Senior Electrical Project Manager
Commercial New Build Central London
£90,000 - £100,000
A leading London-based M&E contractor with an annual turnover exceeding £400m is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to join its commercial new build division. Known for delivering major landmark projects, the business has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, long-standing client relationships, and consistent project delivery.

The Opportunity:
The business is currently delivering a £30m electrical package on a major commercial new build project in Central London and is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to take full ownership of the electrical works.
This is a senior leadership role offering a high level of autonomy and clear long-term development prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full electrical package, ensuring works meet technical, quality, and compliance standards.
Ensure full compliance across all design, engineering, construction, and commissioning activities, driving best practice throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide clear and regular progress updates to the Project Director, ensuring alignment on programme milestones and delivery objectives.
Add value during the design process by challenging methodologies, improving buildability, and reducing whole-life costs where possible.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants, main contractors, and internal engineering teams.
Oversee procurement, resourcing, and supply chain activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Ensure high-quality installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover of all electrical systems.
Skills and Background
Proven experience delivering multiple £10m+ M&E commercial new build projects through the full project lifecycle.
Strong technical expertise in electrical building services within large-scale commercial environments.
Demonstrable leadership experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors.
Excellent understanding of procurement strategies, project controls, installation methodologies, and commissioning processes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced project environments while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.
Relevant electrical engineering qualifications or industry-recognised certifications.
