The role In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the designing, building, and deployment of robust, scalable software across backend and related technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a dynamic new system that meet evolving business needs. You'll provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers through extensive experience in high quality software development, contributing to architectural decisions and ensuring best practices are upheld across the development lifecycle. About you We're looking for an experienced software engineer holding at least 5 years experience, with a strong foundation in modern software development & practices, including excellent knowledge of Agile development methodologies and hands-on experience with unit testing and mocking. You'll have strong technical expertise in C#, .NET, MVC and Azure Functions/App Services. You'll be a strong analytical thinker with good judgement and the ability to make sound decisions, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with Azure cloud services, its associated practices, and tooling is essential, along with ample knowledge with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with SQL, Cosmos DB, APIs or microservices as well as familiarity with front end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS etc) would be highly advantageous.
