Senior Data Scientist

Location: London - Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Must be eligible for SC & DV clearance

About the Role:

Uneek is partnering with a forward-thinking company delivering Machine Learning and AI solutions across sectors like government, security, and regulated industries. As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll work hands-on to solve complex challenges using advanced data science techniques within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy custom ML/AI solutions, including LLMs and reinforcement learning
• Perform data mining, analysis, and pipeline development (Python, SQL)
• Deliver insights via dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) and present findings to clients
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices (Git, Docker, cloud)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in maths/stats/data science with excellent Python & SQL skills
• Experience with ML techniques and frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, XGBoost)
• Familiarity with LLMs, reinforcement learning, and cloud platforms
• Confident communicator with experience in Agile, collaborative teams
