Credit Controller - About the Role

In this role you will be joining an existing credit control team who work within the wider finance team.

The successful candidate will be able to build key relationships, resolve queries as they arise and have great commercial awareness. The role requires the chasing of outstanding balances either by phone and/or email so this role would suit a candidate with strong communication skills. Other duties include: Monitoring ledgers to identify customers reaching credit limits Negotiation with customers to resolve outstanding issues and secure payment of overdue debt Reconciliation of customer statements Provide Collection Manager and Sales Department with analysis on late paying customers and any forthcoming issues Dealing with queries from both internal and external customers Acting on unpaid ledgers and prepare required legal paperwork. The successful Credit Controller should have Effective communication and negotiation skills Excellent organisational skills Good Excel and Outlook skills Credit Controller - Benefits £38,000 to £41,500 Salary Training Allowance and budget Onsite Parking Private Health care Company Pension 25 Days Holiday (with option to buy further days)
