At Emtec Property Services, were growing were looking for a Senior Construction Estimator who knows their numbers but also understands what it takes to win work and deliver it properly. Youll be involved from the early stages of projects, helping shape competitive, commercially sound tenders across a range of property and construction works. The Role Youll play a key part in securing new work and supporting project delivery by preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and tender submissions ranging from multi trade packages and smaller self-delivered package of works, which can be valued from £10K to £7M What youll be doing: Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Producing take-offs and pricing for labour, materials, and subcontract packages
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Supporting handovers to the delivery team once projects are secured
Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from bid to build
