This is a pivotal role at the heart of brand strategy, combining financial leadership, strategic influence, and genuine business partnering.\n\nWhat you'll be doing\n\n- Shape long-term brand direction by designing financial frameworks that support strategic ambitions and challenge teams to deliver against them.\n- Own full brand P&Ls, providing actionable insights on performance versus budget, forecast, targets, and prior year benchmarks, leveraging both internal and external data.\n- Partner directly with Marketing Controllers to guide investment decisions, ensuring spend drives sustainable and profitable brand growth.\n- Lead financial governance across marketing expenditure, championing robust budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.\n- Support innovation and NPD pipelines, ensuring new initiatives are financially viable and aligned with wider commercial priorities.\n- Bridge marketing and operations, offering commercial insight at site meetings and informing decisions throughout the product lifecycle (Launch/Optimise/Consolidate/End-of-Life).\n- Collaborate with commercial and value creation teams to analyse promotional performance and uncover opportunities to enhance ROI.\n- Develop and upskill marketing partners, building their financial understanding and strengthening capability across the wider function.\n\nWhat we're looking for\n\n- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong commercial finance experience.\n- A background in FMCG, consumer goods or similarly fast-paced, brand-led environments.\n- Proven experience partnering with marketing or commercial teams.\n- Strong financial modelling, analytical capability, and strategic thinking.\n- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and coach senior stakeholders.\n\nWhy join?\n\nThis is an opportunity to have a real voice in shaping well-known consumer brands and influencing high-impact strategic decisions.
