Job Description

Role: Senior Civil Engineer\nLocation: Leeds\nSalary: £42-£51k plus excellent benefits package.\n\nRef: MAR321\n\nWe are looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join our clients’ multidisciplinary team based in Leeds. The role will involve leading on the delivery of a wide range of projects across a variety of sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical delivery of projects, client liaison, financial and quality management as well as supporting and monitoring junior staff.

An experienced Civil Engineer with 5+ years post grad experience gained within an engineering consultancy environment in the field of highways, drainage and general infrastructure, ideally Chartered or near Chartered .\n\nA technical specialist to provide advice and support to the wider project teams, including civil design guides, standards, systems and applicable engineering codes.\n\nThe role is suitable for candidates with a background in Civil Engineering, or another related discipline, with the following attributes:\n\n * Bachelor/Masters’ level degree (Civil Engineering)\n\n * 5 years + design experience in civil engineering to include drainage/hydraulic modelling, highway design S278/S38, pavement design, ground analysis and remediation\n\n * Project Management/Contract Administration/Cost Analysis\n\n * Expert Witness Experience\n\nYou should ideally possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and knowledge:\n\n * Chartered Engineer Status (Civil/Structural/CIWEM)\n\n * Previous role as Delegated Engineer/Supervising Civil Engineer or demonstrate a willingness to undertake this role.\n\n * Have experience in various project design phases (e.g. Concept / Tender / Detailed / Construction) and different contractual environments (e.g. D&B, Novation, traditional)\n\n * Possess the ability to effectively communicate, inspire and influence your team or clients and quickly earn their respect and trust.\n\n * Be capable of managing financial targets, including budgets and profitability.\n\nWhat to do next:\n\nIf you are interested in this Senior Civil Engineer role in Leeds, then please click on the link to apply.\n\nIf you are interested in hearing about any other opportunities within Civil Engineering, Highways Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drainage Engineering, Flood Risk Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Transport Planning, then do not hesitate in getting in touch with Martin on (phone number removed) for further information on the positions available
