Senior Support Worker – Residential SEN School (Near Lymington) Location: Rural area near Lymington (address anonymised) Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: £14.88 per hour Contract: Ongoing temporary assignment Hours: 8am–8pm, two‑week rolling rota * Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday * Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday About the Role We are recruiting experienced Senior Support Workers to support young people aged 11–19 with Autism, severe learning difficulties, and associated behaviours. The role involves providing physical and emotional support across classroom, residential, and off‑site settings. Key responsibilities include: * Promoting independence and personal development * Supporting behaviour management and daily routines * Maintaining a safe, stable, and caring environment * Acting as a professional and positive role model * Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team About the School This specialist residential SEN school provides 52‑week care and education for boys and girls with complex needs. Located near Lymington, the service benefits from access to countryside and coastal environments. Requirements * Experience supporting young people with Autism and complex needs * Ability to work long shifts within a structured rota * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Commitment to safeguarding and professional conduct Desirable: * Level 3 QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) Mandatory: * Enhanced DBS with children and adults’ barred list checks * Completion of mandatory training, including safeguarding (face‑to‑face) and Prevent (online)
