We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Senior Chefs to join our new carvery restaurants kitchen team across the East Coast and Norwich. At Anglia Restaurants, our kitchens are at the heart of what we do - serving high-quality, freshly prepared roasts and classic main menu dishes in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. As Senior Chef, you’ll support the Head Chef in leading a supportive and energetic kitchen team who take pride in consistency, presentation, and delivering an excellent guest dining experience every day.
*About You*
You’ll thrive in a fast-moving kitchen, work well as part of a team, and confidently take the lead when required. You’ll have a strong understanding of food hygiene, kitchen organisation, and financial awareness. Along with a positive attitude and a drive to develop both yourself and your team.
*Key Responsibilities*
Your role will include (but is not limited to):
* Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
* Preparing and cooking high-quality carvery meats, sides, and accompaniments to specification.
* Setting up and maintaining the carvery deck and kitchen for smooth and efficient service.
* Leading and motivating the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality food.
* Working across all kitchen sections, including carvery and main menu stations.
* Receiving and storing deliveries in line with food safety standards.
* Completing kitchen records, due diligence checks, and food safety documentation.
* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout.
* Ensuring all prep, cooking, and presentation meets brand standards.
