8 April, 14 April and 16 April in Winchester About the Role As a Senior Care Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading, motivating and developing care teams to deliver outstanding support to residents. You will ensure high standards of care, promote independence and dignity, and support a positive and collaborative working environment. Key responsibilities include: Leading, mentoring and supporting Care Assistants on shift Acting as a role model and supporting induction and ongoing development of staff Conducting supervisions, performance reviews and wellbeing conversations Delivering high quality personal care that promotes dignity and independence Administering medication safely and in line with procedures Supporting residents during illness and end of life care Developing and reviewing person centred care plans Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory requirements Overseeing shift planning, staff allocation and handovers Supporting audits, quality assurance and incident reporting Encouraging meaningful activities and engagement for residents Building strong relationships with residents, families and professionals

About You Essential skills and experience: Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care Experience supervising or leading care staff in a residential or nursing setting Strong knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards and person centred care Experience administering medication Confident in care planning and using digital care systems or eMAR Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast paced environment

Desirable: Experience working with people living with dementia Knowledge of end of life care Familiarity with clinical tools such as NEWS or RESTORE Relevant additional qualifications
