About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, your role is central to the smooth running of our home. You'll lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver high‑quality, personalised care, while inspiring, developing and nurturing them to be their best every day.
You'll receive full training in digital care systems, helping you work more efficiently and focus on what matters most-clinical excellence and outstanding care for our residents. We're committed to supporting your ongoing development in both clinical and social care practices, surrounding you with experienced professionals who share your passion.
You'll help us make great care happen by:
Taking day‑to‑day responsibility for running a unit Supporting clinical duties, including assisting the nurse with observations, medication, care plan reviews and accurate record keeping Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers. Supporting the training and supervision of new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and confident. Building strong relationships with residents, families, GPs and District Nurses Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties Key Skills & Qualifications
Completed or working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (support available if you're still completing it) Motivated, positive and a strong communicator, with the ability to work effectively within a close‑knit team. Previous experience in a senior care role, with an understanding of both the rewards and challenges A genuine passion for making a meaningful difference to people's lives, offering kindness, dignity and personalised support.
