We are working with a growing construction business to appoint an experienced Senior Buyer to manage procurement across multiple projects. This is a key role supporting project delivery through effective sourcing, cost control, and supplier management.You’ll play a vital part in ensuring materials and subcontract packages are procured efficiently, competitively, and in line with project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end procurement in line with project programmes and budgetsDevelop and maintain project procurement plansLead enquiries, analyse quotations, and appoint suppliers and subcontractorsNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve best valueEnsure all orders meet project specifications and regulatory requirementsMonitor spend against budgets and identify cost-saving opportunitiesMaintain strong supplier relationships and resolve procurement issuesProvide updates on procurement progress, risks, and commitmentsSupport reporting, forecasting, and commercial decision-makingHealth & Safety ResponsibilitiesComply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental policiesTake responsibility for your own safety and others around youUse equipment and PPE as requiredReport any incidents, accidents, or near missesGeneral ResponsibilitiesComplete a minimum of 20 hours CPD annuallyFollow company policies, including Equality & DiversitySupport team development and uphold company valuesWhat’s on OfferSalary up to £75,000 + packageHybrid working across office, site, and homeOpportunity to join a growing and well-structured businessLong-term career development and progression #J-18808-Ljbffr
